Electronic Waste Recycling

Have you ever wondered what you should do with all those old computers and cell phones you have lying around your house? Spring cleaning is coming up and it might be a good time to start thinking about it. There are dangerous chemicals in electronics and you can’t just throw them out, so it’s important to know your options when disposing of these items.

I know there are tons and tons of recycling programs and events throughout Los Angeles and the rest of the country.

For all of you Angelenos, there is an E-Waste Collection every second Sunday of the month at the Melrose Trading Post. And if you can’t make it there, check out UCLA’s recycling program.

Here are some other programs I found while researching e-waste on the web:

All City Electronics Removal
West Coast Computer Recycler
EZ PC Recycle

You can also check out Earth911 to find an e-waste recycling center near you.e9RtEO2BBID3RQk2jtXrggpc.jpeg:Amazon:photo
