Recapping Orgasmic Birth
Our most recent book club selection was Orgasmic Birth, a book I read and loved while I was pregnant with Bear. The book is based on the film of the same title.
Here’s what you had to say about it:
“I had my kids at home back in the 80′s. I absolutely loved the experience, and my kids are wonderful, healthy adults. I read a lot of books while I was pregnant, which helped me prepare. I highly recommend this book. It will make you realize how NATURAL the birthing process is! Also, I’m glad the “home birth underground” is still alive and well! Keep it going, mommies!”
“I recently gave birth to a lovely boy and I can highly recommend this book! The book gave me the confidence that giving birth is anything but scary. I hope everyone can have the same wonderful experience as I had.”
“Great film, great great film. So inspiring. I saw it back in 2008 when I was pregnant with my girl and was flirting with the idea of homebirth. I always had this anxiety regarding birth, I just didn’t know how it was and worried that everything would go wrong. When I discovered homebirth, that weight was lifted off my shoulders and I was blessed with two wonderful homebirths in 2008 and 2011. Hypnobirthing is also pretty awesome, if anyone preggers is reading this :)”
I’m so glad you all liked it! If you haven’t read this book and you’re pregnant, please, please, read it!
