    I never knew there were expos like this and it totally goes along with how I would like to raise my child so I would really like to go and learn. I am sick of everyone criticizing the way I want to raise my kids. I would just love to learn for some alike-minded people. What a delight that would be!!

  • Lena

    Well, this is fortuitous. I actually JUST found out I’m pregnant. Shhh… still too early to be shouting from the rooftops. 😉 It still doesn’t even seem real! I’ve read your book already, which was super fantastic and so helpful, but naturally I’m still a full mix of excited, nervous, terrified and a bit overwhelmed. Is it too early to check out this expo? I think it sounds amazing and would love to win tickets!

    I would love to attend. I’ve been vegan for about 2 years and I’m due with my first baby in October. The Kind Mama has become my pregnancy bible and Alicia Silverstone my guru. I’d love to be surrounded by all things natural and holistic having to do with babies. I hope to get everything out of the expo that the expo has to offer!

  • Brandi Senseney

    Just knowing this type of expo is being held makes me really happy! I hope a more natural way reaches mamas everywhere. There is so much healthy knowledge to gain, I would love to be a part of it and then be able to share my experience with my mama friends. Hoping to help others connect to a more healthy and natural approach… in all categories of daily living!

    Sounds like a great event! Just had my third child 8 mths ago and i am always looking for ways to get more people involved in the natural and holistic ways of life. It would be great to connect with people like me!

    I would LOVE to go to this, hear you speak, and i would really love to go to the panel discussion of The Milky Way (for so many reasons)! I am a natural breastfeeding mama of a beautiful 9 month old girl and it’s so important to me to raise her as pure, connected, healthy and happy as possible. Being surrounded by like minded people and those that have so much to contribute and teach would be such a gift! I, in turn would take what I learn back into my own family and also share with friends. In fact, I would be taking one of my closest friends who is just in her second trimester with her first baby (yay!) to show her all of the wonderful opportunities for her during pregnancy and beyond into mama hood :)

  • Tami

    I am a first time Mommy to a beautiful 5 month old little boy named Tucker. I grew up eating fast food and candy. I am the only vegan in my family so gathering knowledge to educate my family and friends would be great. I want to educate myself further to help my son live a kind life. My 30th birthday is the following weekend so it would be a fun early birthday treat to be surrounded by other Mamas. I am the first of my girlfriends to have a baby so celebrating my son with other Mamas would be a perfect birthday treat.

  • PitStop Girl

    Yes! I’m so GLAD and SO excited to see that there is Finally an expo that has Baby stuff all at one show and one that is Natural & Holistic! WOW, I have been waiting for this! I have twin boys and I would LOVE to attend and meet with like minded people! ;

    I like family events and this one seems like the one my family would enjoy

    Alicia, it was such a pleasure to sample your delicious recipes (the crostini and the tender tender tempeh were amazing!) and chat with you yesterday at Crossroads. Thank you for allowing our little energizer bunny (Matthew Eden) to run laps around the restaurant and expend some of that plant-powered energy that makes his so special, and hyper! You are such a gracious host taking the time to connect with everyone in the room despite the weariness and exhaustion that inevitably comes at the end of a very long day. I know bringing The Kind Mama to the masses is a labor of love, and in the end, you will have made a lasting, life changing, impact on more families than you could have ever imagined (including mine, I only wish I had discovered EC sooner!). Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and love to make this book a reality. Regarding NAHBE, we would LOVE to experience this magical event! The Westside Waldorf School looks incredible; I would love to connect with them to find out more (right now, we are planning to enroll Matthew in MUSE since it will be completely vegan by 2015, but this school looks fabulous too!). We also LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Karp as well as lactation consultant extraordinaire Jennifer, and are excited to pick up Dr. Bono’s book Making Grateful Kids. Plus, a nice relaxing massage for mama would be a very nice treat. And as always, we love hearing you speak as YOU ARE OUR INSPIRATION to continue treading lightly on this earth and teach our children kindness and compassion for all life. We love you. Hearts and hugs, from Shelly, Sofiaan, and Matthew Eden
