Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas!

Last year, I blogged about how to make your Christmas more green, and I think a lot of these ideas could come in handy this year too – so be sure to check it out. Many of you shared such cool tips in the discussion below- from buying potted trees that you then plant in your yard to buying fabric with a pine tree screen printed on it! Thanks so much for those thoughts.

Also, thank you to everyone who contributed yum holiday recipes to the kind recipe gallery.

This year we have been celebrating the holidays by attending a few Hanukkah parties. We went to one recently that had vegan latkes and donuts, and all the little kids lit the menorah. It was very sweet!

Here are some more ideas and possible traditions to practice!

How are you celebrating the holiday?

Merry Christmas to you! I think I ate something with butter in it last night (some dessert) but other than that I’ve stuck to plant-based eating and I feel GOOD! We stuck around our own home today and opened gifts and loved on each other. Hope you got to do the same!

My 1 year young daughter inspired me to create a “tree” she couldn’t reach using a hook from the ceiling and a hula hoop! I used cloth ribbon to wrap the hula hoop and connect it to the hook and that made a nice conical tree. Then I wrapped it in lights and hung our ornaments on the lights.
It came out awesome! And my toddler loves it, she just can’t reach it 😉
    and it’s a fine tree-alternative!
    Merry Christmas to you all,
Happy Hanukkah and blessed new year!
