Atelier Tammam’s Beautiful Bridal Couture
A while back when I was shooting the film Who Gets The Dog, we needed a wedding dress for one of the scenes in the movie. Fortunately, eco friendly and vegan designer, Lucy Tammam, sent me this gorgeous skirt and lace top combo that I love!! It’s so chic, youthful, and romantic!
What’s so amazing and unique about Lucy’s designs is that she uses vintage fabrics and consciously sourced materials, one of which is called “Peace Silk.” Peace silk is woven by hand by fair trade producers in India. This cruelty-free silk is sourced from the cocoons of the wild Eri moth. The process does not involve touching or harming the moths, nor does it require keeping them in captivity. Rather their cocoons are collected from the forest after the moths emerge and fly away.
Thank you Lucy for your sustainable, ethical, and beautiful creations.. truly!!!!
