Booda Butter! Certified organic food-grade body butter. Nothing in there I wouldn’t eat. All organic shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil and jojoba oil. Made in small batches in Bellingham, Washington. Company also makes a lip balm and a soap bar. I am obsessed with their products after happening upon them at a co-op on Orcas Island this past summer.

  • Ether Akasha

of course with an adult at hand a knife to cut the tooth paste tube etc will of course extract more of the content

  • Ether Akasha

if the knife is to extreme maybe you could edit it in a more friendly manner

Toothpaste: Desert Essence Tea Tree and Neem
    Shampoo: Everyday Shea
    Deodorant: Tom’s of Maine
    Shave Cream: Kiss My Face
I’m saving money and reducing waste by taking home and using the remainder of toilet paper and hand soap from the hotel that I work for. I clean the hotel and replace those two things when they get low. Still on this vegan journey and always will be although my path is not always straight. Thank you Alicia for helping me. I love telling people at work about the vegan diet. The Spa on the hotel grounds that I work for has mostly vegan products (the brand name of which escapes me at the moment). I hope you are well and happy.

I’m big on supporting smaller, organic and ethical businesses. But here are my everyday essentials –

Shampoo and Conditioner – Mukti Organics
Deodorant – Black Chicken Deodorant Paste or Mukti Organics (don’t like roll ons as they roll back the bacteria from your underarms into the product)
Toothpaste – Divine Company or Riddell’s Creek
    Organic Perfume – One Seed
Make up – currently Moonrise Creek and La Mav
    Face Oil – Mukti Organics
    Lip Balm – Hurraw!
    Toothbrush – Pearlbar

The best deodorant I have found is by a company called MooGoo out of Australia. It’s all natural, organic and works really well. (I believe it is vegan based on the ingredient list, but the company is not). I rotate shampoos between Giovanni and Desert Organics (their organic line is 100% vegan) and only wash my hair about twice a week as well! Finally, I use coconut oil for my dry and cracked wintry hands or warmed sesame oil (organic and un-toasted, otherwise there’s a risk of smelling like stir fry!)

Another thing to mention- this website is fascinating and useful:

    http://www.beautifulwithbrains.com/who-owns-what-in-the-beauty-industry/

You can use Control+F to open a search for any brand you’re wondering about.

And I bring all of my empty containers back to Origins to recycle, because they take all brands for their back to Origins program: https://www.origins.com/our-commitment

But I don’t buy from them, because they’re owned by Estee Lauder, who test on animals.

    Hello,

Here in Australia I use Thursday Plantation products. My face cream, deodorant and face wash are just some of the products that Thursday Plantation produce. The product’s staple ingredient is tea tree oil. Imagine my surprise when I found out the Thursday Plantation company is located only a few suburbs away from me! They distribute to major beauty outlets ( like Priceline, not sure if you have this store in the USA), small health food stores and a variety of stores that sell vegan/vegetarian products.

    Coconut oil
    Dr. Bronners soap
    Earth Paste toothpaste
Deodorant: (from Germany) Vegane Pflege: Fizzy Day, Zippy Pepper
Shampoo and Conditioner: Faith In Nature Coconut Shampoo
The Lavera brand also has a lot of good products I’ve used over the years.
My favorite is buying from women who make their own vegan organic products all over the world: Canada, LA, Italy, Germany. I usually pick them up while traveling or if I am lucky gifted them by friends who know me and think of me when they stumble upon them.
