This month’s book club selection is Ed Begley, Jr’s Guide to Sustainable Living: Learning to Conserve Resources and manage an Eco-Conscious Lifestyle. I love this book! It’s so well-written and well put together. The information Ed shares is really important for your health and the planet. And, an awesome side effect of implementing his advice is that you save a lot of money. I’m constantly referring back to it. It’s such an amazing resource and it’s easy to understand. I LOVE IT!!!! Read with me!
You can get a new or used copy of Ed’s book here or you can download the kindle edition. Of course you can always see if your local library has a copy first!
As you read, leave your thoughts and questions in the comments below. At the end of the month, we’ll discuss what we learned.

This is a very good book for those who are just getting into "being green" and want to know the basics. Very good information with a few new topics here and there. -

Hi Alicia, all! This looks like a great book! There isn't a kindle version unfortunately.. so I've sent a note to the publisher asking for this. Maybe in the future :) I'd rather not buy in hard-copy form. I'm in Slovakia, I don't think library will have it but I can check. Thanks for this book club, great idea! x -

I placed it on hold at my library today too! Very excited. Books are my second fuel (first is fabulous vegan food, of course!). All the information keeps me motivated to keep moving towards the best version of myself. Right now, I am finishing up John Robbins' 2011 revised edition of 'Food Revolution.' -

I loved Living with Ed, too! My husband has to hear me say "Ed wouldn't like that" if I catch him being wasteful or a bit lazy with his recycling. I hope to find a copy of his book. -

I LOVE that so many celebrities and influential people in our country are speaking out, publishing, and being pro-active to encourage people to go green and live a better life! If only we could make more impact on a political level things would be near perfect! Here's hoping for a kind new year to come! -
