The Green Festival is taking over the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown LA November 17 and 18. Presentations by green experts include what to do about GMOs post-Prop 37, an eco-fashion show with Rebecca Mink, a DIY aromatherapy seminar, yoga classes with Shiva Rea, and a talk about hybrid vehicles.
The Good Food Stage will showcase sustainable eats, including plenty of vegan food. Speakers include Russell Simmons, Ed Begley Jr. and Edward James Olmos. The festival will also feature a ton of eco-friendly exhibitors who make everything from yoga mats to raw snacks foods. I’ll be in NYC, so I can’t attend, but the festival looks great!

Hi Caroline - I just tested the code and it's working for me. Can you try copying and pasting the code directly from the blog post and giving it another shot? -

I'd like to go to that gig someday, Alicia. Not this year now, but maybe another time. Have a lovely day, everyone, and especially Miss Silverstone! x. -
Hi Alicia,
I did get to the DC GreenFest and it was a lot of fun. I gathered a lot of literature from different vendors but haven't had the motivation to scan them in and post them. I did post about some organic tea companies I found though.
I hope you are doing well in New York. I am not sure if I will make it up there from Maryland. It depends on finances the willingness to venture that far to unfamiliar territory by Bolt Bus and walk to the theatre and Candle 79. Probably not a big deal, just haven't done it before. I'm also contemplating a move to Colorado Springs and may need the money. I'm not a student of theatre or anything but I would like to meet you backstage and give you and Christopher and big hug and thank you for being such an inspiration and comfort to me.
I did see Butter and Vamps (yikes) and you were awesome in both. Very good story lines, casting and acting.
Sincerely,
Clinton Blake -
