@ KB I think the Co q-10 has a funny flavor is my guess. I have used the one with co q-10 and it does taste strange. I also like J/A/S/O/N's other line up cinnamint and vanillamint.

I just began trying more natural toothpastes and have now tried Kiss My Face, Jason, LUSH toothy tabs, and Trader Joe's. I agree with Alicia and would say that I like Jason's the best. I haven't tried the Sea Fresh kind though. The toothy tabs were pretty neat, and I think would be great for the road and travel. Didn't have as much substance to them, and pastey texture, as I like.

Also, If someone is looking for a non abrasive toothpaste that is good & lathers up.....mostly olive oil & coconut oil ingredients. toothsoap is amazing!!! its liquid drops, but Im getting ready to order the tooth shreds...I think they'll be less messy since the liquid is well...liquid. lol. http://toothsoap.com/clean-your-teeth-with-tooth-soap/

I really love Weleda's spray deodorants...the best ive ever used. They do contain alcohol though... I also like LaVanilla brand deodorant, but they are around $20. I dont mind paying for it....the Weleda and lavanilla last a long time. I use them in combo in the summer.

Hi Alicia and everyone else too,

I noticed you posted that you use the Jason Sea Fresh toothpaste without the CoQ-10. Is there something wrong with CoQ-10? Is there a difference between CoQ-10 that is taken as a suppliment, in your toothpaste, or in your body lotion? I haven't read anything about it.

    Thanks in advance!

hey everyone. i had asked for information on some cruelty free lipbalms and makeup. i had been told that Avon is no longer cruelty free. i did some research and according to peta2 Avon is in fact an animal cruelty free company. Here is their website and the sites they have listed.

I am an Arbonne rep if anyone is interested in trying it. I have been using Arbonne for 1 year and just recently became vegan. Does any one have vegan recipes to send with my children for lunch?

    Hi Guys,
I understand the frustration about finding Cruelty-Free products. I run a green business and I sceen all product lines to ensure that they are Cruelty-Free before carrying them. You'd be amazed at how many companies actually are Cruelty-Free but don't know to advertise it. A good rule of thumb is if you can find it in a department store it probably isn't Cruelty-Free. Often times it's the lesser known indie companies are the ones that are doing things right and standing up for animal and environemental rights, I love Shea Terra too, I carry their bath and body products, they even use cruelty-free silk in their lotions! If anyone needs recommendations I would be happy to help, I have tested so many products and also done extensive research into everything I carry so I can provide lots of info if anyone needs help navigating through the sea of products out there,

Arbonne is vegan and cruelty free. They have never in 30 years tested on animals. There is no mineral oil, perfumes or dyes in their skin care. If you are looking for superior quality in antiaging skin care check them out at www.arbonne.com.

My boyfriend and I like the preserve toothbrushes because they are curved to reach the harder to reach teeth. Preserve makes disposable shavers that are made out of recycled materials which I would use if I shaved my legs. They come in plastic containers which are great for toting around.

Rachel - several people have mentioned Preserve toothbrushes, but I don't know if anyone's mentioned they make razors, too. You can send the plastic back to them to recycle, or some Whole Foods have the Gimme 5 program, and you can take it right back to the store to be recycled.

I don't know about Avon or Mary Kay being cruelty free, but they still use a number of petroleum based ingredients in their products. Check out www.peterlamas.com for organic certified Vegan skin care and hair care products that work great!

I LLLLOOOOOVVVEEEE this site: www.bubbleandbee.com All the products are organic and the deodorant works great! They even have a 100% guarantee that the deodorant will work or they will send you another one until you find the one that works for you. I use the baking soda and spearmint formula and it is amazing!!

Hi Susan! I can recommend a great lipbalm that is vegan, and I'm a lipbalm fanatic. The company is called Crazy Rumors. You can visit them online at www.crazyrumors.com. (I don't work for them, or anything, I'm just a very satisfied customer.) They are flavored with stevia and come in the cutest, most realistic scents in categories like coffee, tea, and ice cream that are subtle and not overwhelming. They are so, so creamy, and they are both my favorite and my husband's favorite lipbalms. (I love the "Orange Bergamot" scent, while my hubbie likes the "Peppermint Lemongrass".)

I used to use Burt's Bees, because the texture is really nice, and it is natural. But the peppermint oil would dry out my lips, and I felt bad about the little bees. Then a friend of mine gave me some of the Crazy Rumors balms for Christmas, and I'm never going back! They are definitely Holy Grail-status. So when you're done with your BB, give Crazy Rumors a try!

question: i am looking for some lip balm with and without color. i have burt's bees but it has bees wax in it and i am not sure that would be considered Vegan? i have a lot of them and i dont want to throw them out. should i just use them till they are gone then look for something to replace them with?

Wanted to bring awareness to Miessence. The products are certified organic! You can find skincare, makeup, haircare, products for mother and baby, essential oils, etc. The website is also a great tool to teach people the importance of choosing organic.
