Check out this amazing pedal-powered school bus from the Netherlands! This is so cute and cool! How's that for teaching fitness to kids? I wish I could have ridden on this when I was little. Heck, even now it looks fun!
What do you think, is this something American schools should consider?

Ahh! Yes! I think that the US should really look into things like this! Or even just individual schools, to get things going. There's a few awesome charter schools up in the bay area that focus on growing their own food/sustainability...I bet something like this would go over famously!!

this is off the hook FABULOUS. my dog gwendolyn and i ride bicycles every single sunday morning! I used to live in Hilo, Hawaii and this would have been perfect for that area. So smart and green, I love it!!!! I went to school to be a teacher and I would love to pick my students up on this to go to school.

Not just a great way to teach fitness but as a teacher, I'm constantly doing head counts on feild trips. THis is an amazing way to ensure that all the students are in one place.
It might be time for me to take a sabatical in the Netherlands.
