I've worn my Earth vegan shoes (3 pairs over the last 5 years) - and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. My Vibram 5 fingers are an experience in and of themselves, they simulate bare footwalking, so if you hike or go to lots of freestyle dance/rave/eccentric music festivals, I would reccomend stopping by a Sports store and trying on a pair.

I love my Earth Vegan Shoes, too! They are so comfy, and I get compliments on them.

I love my 5 fingers. I do everything in them -- walk, shop, run (short distances), swim, climb (rocks!) -- really just about ANY thing. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you're really into running Lindsay, you should try extending your run in the five fingers. I've gone from struggling with a mile in my old shoes to doing up to 3 miles in my five fingers.

Do it! Do it! But start out sllllllooooowww with running in them. Your feet aren't use to them yet, but when they are you'll be amazed how your ankles, knees and whole body feel. Wear them around while doing errands for the first week and let your feet relearn to land how they're meant to and then start a little running after. (this is what worked for me) And remember that the soles aren't as thick as you're use to, so when you step on something sharp you'll feel it. Good luck!!

I totally recommend the Earth shoes. They are so great!! I've worn them for over 5 years now! Go to their website to order. Dillards now carries them though if you want to try them on in person.

Jane, your feet will begin to hurt, I'd imagine... mine did - but now they don't... growing pains, your feet's muscles are growing.
