Just got my hands on The Kind Diet, and while I haven't gotten a chance to read every word, I am pleasantly surprised. What I wrote from Border's bookstore: It's not a cookbook with a few vegan tips for dummies. It's a thorough guide for those interested in improving the quality of their lives , with some recipies, and without being intimidating about it. The mass of the book surprised me, much thicker than I expected, it's designed elegantly and is very kind without being too kiddy or cheesy. People who first got aquainted with Silverstone via Clueless will be shocked as she writes without ego and presents a beautiful reference experience that I will most assuredly pass around to my inquisitive friends and anybody else who needs the help, we all need a little help and before I begin my generous streak- me first!
