I could not find maple sugar so I used organic cane sugar for your pumpkin bread recipe....is this ok?

I also cannot fince maple sugar locally. I asked in our local natural foods store and she didn't know what I was talking about. We did find date sugar though. Is this similar?
I am also finding many choices of organic sugar.

When I had trouble finding maple sugar I bought birch sugar by The Ultimate Life. I finally saw maple sugar at Whole foods but it was pretty pricey 9.99 for 8 oz.

I had the same problem but I asked the guy at Whole Foods and he said that Maple Sugar is a seasonal thing. He said that they will be getting it closer to Thanksgiving (so in maybe two weeks). They do have a vegan cane sugar at Whole Foods but I remember something about Alicia advising against it. However if it turned out well than you have some wonderful pumpkin bread until you can what you need!

Thanks Brianna...hmmmm, I wonder what kind of shelf life it has...you know, to get it in a couple of weeks while it's around!

Mmmmmmmmm, the pun'kin bread spread with some vegan cream "cheese"....oh my gosh...with all the great sweet stuff recipes, I'm so thinking I wanna do this one first... :)
