Hi everyone, i am heading to aussie and was wondering where i could eat vegan while there. any tips?
Check out www.happycow.net They have a great listing of restaurants that are vegan or vegan-friendly. There are tonns of great places in most big cities, but plan ahead if you're taking a road-trip, I had a really hard time getting anything good to eat between major cities...
In Sydney I can recommend Mother Chu's Vegetarian Kitchen.

If your travelling on the South Coast of New South Wales try:
The Perfect Break in Gerringong and Pilgrim Wholefoods in Milton.
All three have vegan options and excellent food.
There are also many middle eastern cafes where you can usually get falafel, hummus, tabouli etc at good prices.
There are not a lot of natural food or health food stores in Australia but most of the major supermarket have a good selection of vegan and natural foods.
Enjoy!!

I second Mother Chu's in Sydney, that place has endless options and isn't very expensive!
Also, if you will be anywhere near Melbourne, I'd check out Bimbo's on Brunswick Street. It's a trippy pizza place but they have a great vegan pizza there.
There are also kebab shops all over the place is Aus so get a falafel kebab and have them hold the sauce, it's delicious!
Good luck!
If your in Sydney, I recommend heading to Newtown (5 min bus ride from Central station) to a place called green gourmet, it is delicious and such a treat, they also have a little grocery store next door which also has a small cafe style area for drink and cupcakes etc...
