Lemon water and miso soup--(just a little miso paste in water). I love something warm in the morning, and tea isn't enough. And then later I had green tea and a vegan granola bar by Oskri - the Jalow Bar (yummy with almonds and cranberries and seeds). I have the Babycakes Gluten Free/Vegan cookbook so once in awhile I treat myself to a breakfast bread/cake of some sort. This past weekend I made a gingerbread with pumpkin, shredded carrots and flaxseed - completely sugar free and gluten free. Delish and full of nutrients and fiber! I had a little bite of that this morning too, but not an entire piece.

Vegan Pancakes complements of the Joy of Vegan Baking by Colleen Patrick Goudreau! Love them! Topped them off with fresh raspberries and fresh maple syrup from upstate NY. What a nice treat for a great fall morning.
