I copied this recipe from Starbucks Perfect Oatmeal. I used instant, organic oatmeal (Nature Path's with flaxseeds) and add a spoonful of brown sugar, dried fruit, and walnuts. It's delicious, healthy, vegan, and totally filling. Enjoy!
I will also try this. I am in the Starbucks line everyday for the perfect oatmeal. This will also save some money. Thanks!
My breakfast was very similar. Whole oats, wheat, rye, barley, dates, almonds, walnuts, sunflower kernels with a tiny bit of earth balance and maple syrup.
Patterned off of Bob's Red Mill Muesli.
You're welcome, Shaniece. I actually do this quite a bit. If I find a vegan dish that I like when eating out I try to recreate or tweak it when I get home. And yes it is much, much cheaper and just as good if not better! Just another quick tip, I purchase the dried fruit and the nuts from the baking section of the grocery store. The nuts are way cheaper and the dried fruit like cranberries, raisins, and cherries either together or separately are a perfect combo for the oatmeal.
