In his book the China Study on page 48 there is a animal rights box that brings up a discussion for debate... Campbell admits that experimental animal research was done to provide research and conclusions from his studies... using rats and mice... He claims there was simply no alternative way to get the same information without using experimental animals. I know Alicia Silverstone feels very strongly about not intenionally directly causing suffering in animals. However, these animal studies are helping such repretable causes as M.D Anderson Cancer Research and great finding such as from the China Study... I would love to know your thoughts on this? and even would really appreciate Alicia's comments as well? This is just something that I seem torn with... How about you? Thoughts comments opinions insight and input welcome I encourage you to reference page 48 of the china study to be able to understand what the ethics are?

I know this subject is not as invigorating or exciting as clicking on a blog about new food recipies but I am hoping someone might step up and give a response or notice this

Science found a cure for cancer in mice DECADES ago. Yet how much of what was found has helped humans? We have very different genetics and what works on goats, pigs, monkeys and mice is NEVER guaranteed to help humans in the least. You should look around peta.com sometime. The website is chocked full of eye opening information. :)

maybe we will interview colin cambell about this one day. i was very torn about printing the research on this from his book ...im on tour at the moment but give me a minute and i will share my thoughts. i am defintily against animal testing for sure...but when this was already done and the info was so good just couldnt not use it...that said i think we have amazing research from many diffferent sources that also supports our plant based position....anywho just dont have time to get this all down....but will later...thanks
