I'm trying to wean myself off dairy but I've found alot of soymilks are either high in fat or they contain evaporated cane juice which is a sugar. Does anyone have any recs on a good soymilk thats lowfat and low sugar? I exercise and try to keep my sugar low.

Hi.....Westsoy organic unsweetened soymilk is great. It has only 1 gram of sugar......9 grams of protein, 4 grams fiber, and 4.5 fat. I like Organic Valley & Edensoy too.

Have you tried rice milk or almond milk? They are both really good alternatives to dairy and soy products. You may be able to find these at your local major chain market, but stores like Whole Foods, Henry's and Trader Joe's are probably your best bets.

Yeah Rice Milk, Almond Milk, and Hazelnut Milk are great. I've really been into Hemp Milk lately! I love it, and it has a lot of good fats in it that vegans sometimes need!

I actually like different Milk Alternatives for different things... soy for baking, rice for cereal, almond & hemp for drinking... and dunking cookies!

my favorite is the edun soy rice blend that i talk about in the book. but i also just discovered the almond breeze choclate milk for kids or husbands...no sugar. anywho different ones for different results...but the most balancing sugar free one for me is edun rice soy blend.
