I'd really like to get a reaonseably priced water purifier for my sink to cut down on plastic water bottles. Any recommendations?

I bought an office water cooler and have hot water/cold water on demand, great for teas and soups/ vegan ramens. Sorry, I don't know about purifiers or filters as the water I get has already been purified, just wanted to toss my method out there.

We have an Instant Hot water dispenser by Insinkerator that has a filtration system. I love it! I use it for teas, soups, and for hot water for boiling. It is installed unser the sink, with it's own little faucet right at the sink. My fridge has a filter in it for our cold water. The place that I bought the Instant Hot water dispenser carries a line of undersink filtration system called Everpure. I think it is a good line. You can find info on it on-line. I am also looking into a whole house water filtration system.

Hey Zachary, I have a really silly question. You know how they talk about plastic bottles and BPA. Are the big bottles that are delivered for the large coolers BPA free?

Yes Please do tell of a cheaper but just as effective or close to the ones Gwyneth mentioned on her GOOP site. I can not afford to be as fancy as her but I would like some safe water for my family. I have a faucet mount PUR model right now but would like a total above or below the sink unit. Any ideas? Thank you

apparently they have BPA, but I don't worry about it.

I just bought a PUR mount filtration system for the faucet for about $20 on sale at Target. I read reviews though and some said they had trouble with them leaking. Have you noticed this?

We love our Aquasana water filter...LOVE! We researched extensively and this was the best we found and it was in our price range. Please check out their website they have a wealth of information and it was wonderful to find it all on one website. We have the counter top and shower water filters...we are extremely pleased with them! They may seem pricey at first but when you break down the costs of bottled water and other filters you will find this is the best deal. :)

We also love our kleen kanteens. We take them everywhere!
