I just bought and tried kombucha tea for the first time (GT's Synergy). I loved it! Has anyone else tried it?

I drink it occasionally. Don't feel the instant effects others do, but I still drink it. I also found a multivitamin called Raw Kombucha which I take most days. Not sure if that's working either. My main problem is low iron though so I think once I get that in check, I'll be able to tell if the energy supplements work or not.

I love Kombucha! It is my treat every time I go to the Health Food Store! I just bought a book on fermenting live foods and I am going to make some of my own! I'll let you know how it turns out! I've never felt any magical "effects"; I just like the taste :).

Yeahh- I love the GT synergy Kombucha drinks. My husband wasn't real into them at first-but now he likes em' as much as I do. Yogi Tea also has a green tea kombucha tea!! We often buy both of them. Yes--garden of life now has a raw kombucha vitamin!! It's new!! I wanna try it too!

LOVE Kombucha. I've gotten great results from it. I drink one almost every morning. I find that the fizzyness wakes me up... well I try to tell myself that! Hey, it's better than coffee! The Multi Green and divine grape are my favorites.

Yeahh-I like the raw multi-greens the best too! It seems like it's the most potent of the bunch :). I do admit though-my hubby & I do drink organic coffee.....we switch on and off-between TEECCINO (an herbal coffee that's caf. free & high in potassium)-and org. reg. coffee. I'd like to have the GT raw komucha drink more often....we usually buy 1 when we go food shopping.

Aw, I wish I could afford to buy more Kombucha for every day drinking :). I have to be really careful with my budget because I just graduated college and am financially on my own for the first time. That's why I've started making almost everything myself...ricemilk, sprouts, bread, all desserts, growing herbs, hummus, salad dressings...it gets taxing especially since I work so much! But I am excited to taste homemade kombucha. I feel as if a lot of people are tight on money, and I would be spending tons more if I ate meat and dairy, so I'm thankful!

Yeah, I didn't feel anything amazing from it either, but I did love the taste and the fizz. I was hoping it would help me with digestion? Has anyone found it helpful?

There are a few good youtube vids on making Kombucha, but be sure that they talk about safety of it and how to keep it clean. There are harmful molds/bacteria that can grow on it and there are ways to avoid that as well as ways to keep fruit flies from laying eggs (bad bacteria can grow on top of the good bacteria). My friend makes it at home. For some reason I get an instant headache when I drink it from Whole foods. Never had homemade.

Yeah, that's why I'm worried about fermenting things myself. I don't want to grow nasty bacteria in my Kombucha drink :(. I have some friends who have made it so I'm going to have them give me a tutorial. I hope it works! I've never had it homemade either!
