I was reading an article on the internet about hijiki. According to our Canadian Food and Safety they strongly advise against consumption because of arsenic found in the seaweed mostly out of China. It also mentioned high levels of heavy metals. So what kind should we be buying? The article recommended only sv from the west coast and Spain. Do you have any info on this?
i remember hearing about this...but when i looked into it found i wasnt worried. but if it makes you nervous stick with arame. i will eventually get around to finding my research on why i didnt concern myself with that arguement. but in mean time sorry i cant remember.
