Superhero Questions - Rice and Miso

We have a lot of white rice - can I use that up as my grain (I intend on buying brown, but I don't want what I have to go to waste) and still get the superhero results (especially with weight loss)?
For the miso - does any veggie broth go in it? And can I make a batch and eat it over a few days?
Is there a simple miso soup recipe with less veggies in it that I could whip up super fast in the morning?

have the white rice 2 to 3 times a week for using up. love not wasting. and you can keep it if you like and have forever like 1 to 2 times a week. but definitly get some brown rice now...it will be very good for you!
miso no veggie broth. just what is there in recipie.
for quickie yes for sure cut back on veg...it can be as simple as paste in hot water. or add chives. or scallions and tofu. whatever makes it work for you. and on slower days make with more veg. like 3-4 veg is ideal.
try not to make in advance. although i do that when crucnhed for time..but much better for health to have fresh. that goes for all veg. but sure making it and keeping for few days is fine if thats what makes it work for you.
Great! Maybe I'll start to have more energy and I can get my butt outta bed in the morning a little earlier to make the soup.
I love brown rice, but husband doesn't so I can leave most of it for him and just help him eat it a little through the week.
I'm so excited to be a super hero...I may start running around the house with a towel cape around my neck. 
Made some miso this morning with 2 kinds (mellow white and barley), mushrooms, wakame, and a green onion. I also added a splash of shoyu. It is delicious. I put it in a thermous and I'm enjoying it at my desk now!
if you had to pick one miso, which one? (not easy to come by in my mountains).

the yellow one is my favorite. i find the brown one too salty.
i like barley miso. i mix it with hot water, chopped scallions, and some cubed tofu. yum!
white miso and yellow miso are delish!
I have only been able to find instant miso soup, is that ok?
