I use Suncoat liquid foundation that I found online. It is vegan and contains the least amount of unsafe ingredients I have found so far. They also have water-based vegan nail polishes that don't smell as bad as the harsh stuff and work just as good, and acetone-free polish remover, vegan eye shadows, vegan mascara and vegan liquid liner. Vegan hair products too! Although the hair products don't have a particularly strong scent, they don't smell all that great, but they are the most natural ones I have found so far. The hair gel works great.

You cannot find completely natural or organic makeup. lol But the Suncoast brand has one of the MOST natural vegan foundations that I have found so far. I just ordered and should be receiving another foundation in the mail that I purchased online from another vegan brand, ZuZu Luxe. You can find their products at specialty stores as well. The ingredients look promising. I will let you know which one I like the best ;)

Beauty Without Cruelty (BWC) is other popular vegan brand that you can find online or at specialty stores but many of their products contain talc.
I am sure you have heard of Urban Decay (found at Sephora). They have tons of vegan products but most, if not all of their products, contain either parabens, talc, artificial colors, etc., which are not good for you, since anything you put onto your skin gets easily absorbed through your pores and into your body. I use to use Tarte (also found at Sephora), when I was vegetarian since most of their items contain no parabens, sulfates, synthetic frangrances, dyes, petro-chemicals, or phthalates and contain many natural organic ingredients. While they do not test on animals, their make-up is not vegan.

I hope this helps.

I should also note that I personally use liquid foundation, as I am not a big fan of mineral foundation, but Zuzu Luxe has a powder foundation. I have also heard of Sevi Organics, they have a vegan mineral make-up line.

I went to Sephora yesterday looking for a more natural & eco friendly liquid foundation and got a sample for the Wild Rose one from Korres. I am totally in love with it already! It feels amazing on and I already got compliments on how great my skin looks today. Will definitely make that purchase soon!

I also use the pressed powder from Korres and it is amazing!

For mineral foundation, I have Bare Minerals but I rarely use it as I just dont like the application...I find liquid foundation so much easier to use! I also bought this light coverage tinted moisturizer by Mineral Fusion at Whole Foods. Its not bad but the color always change and go darker on my skin by midday so I stopped using it.

I would suggest going to Sephora and get a few samples from Tarte, Josie Maran and Korres. I've also heard really really good things about NVEY Eco products but I can't find it in stores around me and you can't exactly buy foundation without trying it first.

Be sure to check the labels before you sample.

I have already mentioned that Tarte is not a vegan line so I would contact them whether a particular item is vegan or not.

Josie Maran's pressed powder contains Lanolin (from wool),

Korres is also not a vegan line, they use milk and honey ingredients, so I would check with them whether a particular product is vegan or not.

NYEY Eco's foundation contains honey

Mineral Fusion's lipsticks and mascaras contian beeswax.
