Catskill Animal Sanctuary is searching for a visionary vegan chef to help open its on-site cooking school and to develop innovative culinary education programs. The chef we hire must be formally trained, deeply committed to vegan living, and a gifted educator -- someone who can help people joyfully discover that they can eat food that is delicious and creatively prepared, and be compassionate to animals and the Earth, at the same time. The full job description is located on our website at www.CASanctuary.org.
Located in New York's Hudson Valley, CAS is a 100-acre sanctuary for farm animals rescued from abuse and neglect. Since its founding in 2001, CAS has helped over 1,700 desperately needy horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese. In addition to our rescue efforts, CAS offers on- and off-site educational programming to inform the public about the impacts of factory farming on animals, people, and the planet we share.
