Is anyone in the New Haven area? I'm new to the vegan scene and would love some tips on where to shop, and where to eat out. I know there's Claires Cornercopia...any others? Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks Lindsay! I also found the guilford diner "vegetarian enclave" - they have a vegan section on their menu. Try the vegan chili over couscous! Very good!!! :)

Just got back from Thali Too in New Haven - AMAZING! http://www.thalitoo.com/Alicia, next time you are in CT, or passing through...this place is a MUST! And it's smack dab in the middle of the Yale campus, so it's really fun to bop around. We had a noodle bowl with snowpeas & white mushrooms with chili garlic sauce, cilantro & chili rice, masala dosa, and onion bhajia. There are tons of vegan choices (most of the menu!) The wait staff is really helpful - and my cousin Ross is the bartender! :)
