I've been vegan for about 2 years, following Eat to Live style eating for the most part. Unfortunately, I have not been able to lose excess weight. I have been interested in a macrobiotic style eating for a few months when I ran across The Kind Diet.
Like Alicia, I played around with a raw diet for a while and that did not work for me! I felt so drained and just plain horrible. I'm not quite finished reading the book but I've started adding more grains to my diet and lessening the amount of legumes. I have to say it is a bit scary to do so. I don't think The Kind Diet will help me lose weight alone but I'm also calorie counting and I'm excited to try changing up my eating a bit.
