Frequently, when I'm craving something sweet, I try to eat it early in the day. I usually make a mish-mash out of my oatmeal by throwing in anything I can find (healthy and vegan, of course :) ). This morning I was craving chocolate (when don't I??) and decided to have oatmeal, so I threw in choc. chips, a sliced banana, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and raisins. I know, this may sound strange, but it was delicious! Oh, and some almond milk and cinnamon! Mmm, mmm, mmm!

This sounds good. I'll have to try it. A recent fun addition to my oatmeal is frozen raspberries. I discovered it one day when I went raspberry picking and I was picking so many raspberries. The farmer suggested freezing them and told me to put them in my oatmeal. They defrost in less than a minute and it cools down the oatmeal. Maybe I'll add in some chocolate chips next time!

Yum frozen raspberries or even blueberries with chocolate!

Sounds awesome. Can't wait til breakfast now. ;) My variation on a theme is nut butter, agave, flax seeds. Almond milk & cinnamon is always a staple as well.

I am so uncreative; I never even thought about adding stuff to my oatmeal. Thanks for the great ideas.

Another good option is dried craisins and toasted walnuts.

I'm also uncreative! My normal routine is oatmeal and frozen blueberries for breakfast. Just yesterday morning I saw banana's on my counters and thought to slice it in half and add to my oatmeal along with the blueberries! lol! that oatmeal tasted SO good with just that little change!
I'm hoping that with this book, it will open my eyes and mind to just playing around more and not be afraid.

Daaaaang that all sound so so good, Chloe-babe! :) Your "trail mix" sounds like energy you chew, I love it!

Aaaaah, and thank you I'm so dense on how to incorporate flax seed/meal...I didna think of oatmeal...oh, and the cherry thing...genius.

Oh - and Gina, isn't the banana in there AMAZING?? It's like having a banana muffin - how inspired is our KK??!!

Man, it's too bad we only get on breakfast a day - LOL! Of course...I think the very hardest thing about trying to go truly superhero will be not having something sweet like that for breakfast . I've got got GOT to get it outta my head that that's the only way food is comforting - and morning is REEEAAALLY when I want that ol' comfort food - LOL!
