Garlic Broccoli
by Joanne Stepaniak from Dr. Neal Barnard's book "Breaking the food Seduction"

Serves 4

1large bunch of broccoli
1 tsp olive oil
1 small onion cut in half and thinly sliced
salt
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
2 tbsp of capers

Cut broccoli into bite sized florets. Peel stems and cut in half lengthwise
then slice into 1 inch long pieces. Heat oil in a large skillet. When hot,
add onions and sprinkle with salt. Cover and cook. Stirring occasionally, just until onions are soft. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute, then add capers and prepared broccoli and sprinkle with a little more salt to taste. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is bright green and tender crisp.

(I often add water to steam it with the lid on it.)
(I also add more garlic but its a personal choice)

I hope everyone like this one!
