Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Suki skincare line and what your thoughts are on it...I currently use Juice Beauty which has been wonderful...Thank you :)

I have not tried Suki but I have seen it and it looks great (nice colors and not a ton of products) I recently purchased the Ren line and so far it is great. Anyone used this line?

I was a former Dr Hauschka user and although I tried every combination I could not make it work for me. It is just too heavy.

Why are you switching from Juice Beauty? I have seen it and heard nice things :-)

The only Suki product I've tried is the exfoliating cleanser and it was too harsh for my sensitive skin, I actually can't exfoliate at all.
I have also used Juice Beauty and I've tried most of the products they have but the only ones that seemed to work for me was the cleansing milk and nutrient moisturizer for winter time while i was studying abroad in Spain ( I have combo skin). I couldnt use the green apple peel for sensitive skin, it made me too red and produced milia/whiteheads. The other products felt sticky, and I like the acids and fruit juices were too active and irritating on my skin.
I LOVE REN! I have tried 3 cleansers: combo, normal, and sensitive and have never had a reaction, which is quite the miracle! I have also tried the accompanying moisturizers for those 3 skin types with fabulous results as well. Now that the weather is colder and drier in Milwaukee I have switched from the Rosa Centifolia cleanser for normal skin to the Calendula cleanser for sensitive skin and i love it. I have been using that with Pratima Rose Face Sunscreen SPF 30 for day time and it works great! i also have tried the Detox mask REN makes and that works great as well!

Perfect, thanks for the great info! Lately I've heard wonderful things about Suki and it seems it may be even more natrual than Juice Beauty so just thought I'd look in to it as a possibility :) Juice Beauty is great though...I ordered a sample pack this week of Suki so I'll be sure to let you know once I try! I had not heard of REN before but it sounds great! I think I'll have to try the pratima sunscreen, I looked it up and it sounds good! Thanks so much :)

Great feedback to both of you. I appreciate it. I am also looking for a sunscreen and have been allergic to everything so far. I have jut purchased the suki exfoliating cleanser, eye cream, normalizin toner, and the light normalizing day cream. My skin was very dry and broken out with Ren after only three days (not surprising -- I have the most sensitive skin when it comes to natural skincase. Give me a bottle of glycolic and parabens and my skin is in heavan (lol)) So far my skin feels awesome but I didn't get a nightcream. I like Hauska's approach to let skin breathe at night and keep products away until morning. Not sure if it's really good or not but the theory behind it sounds good. I'll keep you updated on Suki for me. Does anyone use a tinted moisturizer they would recommend? With all these breakouts I need something....thx!

I have extremely sensitive skin, too, and have tried everything so i feel your frustration! I too tried Dr. Hauschka and it just wasnt for me, too much alcohol and essential oils I think, although I do LOVE the mascara. I tried to let my skin breathe for a while at night but it was getting dried out so now I just use a light facial oil (Weleda Almond Facial Oil for Sensitive skin) and I really like it. I've used Josie Maran's argan oil in the past and that was nice too. I think anything too heavy on your skin at night would interrupt the skin's natural repairing process. The Pratima sunscreen is amazing, it is SPF 30, uses only zinc oxide and has very few ingredients so little risk of irritation. it's inexpensive too! 1 bottle lasts me about 3-4 months and is only $16 if purchased directly from the spa in NYC, but shipping is kind of expensive. It also has kind of a pearlescent sheen to it so it makes your skin glow! its super lightweight, not greasy, soaks in readily, and no white film! As far as natural tinted moisturizers go, I like Josie Maran and Aveda. The Suki TM was too dark for me and Juice Beauty was really greasy. Josie Maran is SPF 30 but uses chemical sunscreens. Aveda is SPF 15 from Titanium Dioxide, but contains methylparaben. Aveda will be reformulating the product soon, if not now, to remove the parabens. I was a TM devotee (stila before i switched to naturals) and i have used both of these before and liked them, but I have since switched to alima pure mineral makeup since I found a sunscreen i like on its own. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I will call pratima skin care in the morning -- have you ever used their skin care?

All the best!

The only other Pratima products I've tried were the Sandalwood Rose Mask - too strong of fragrance and burned a little, the anti-eczema oil- didnt use it consistently so i dont know how well it wouldve worked, and the cucumber aqua gel - it stings my eyes, but i like it when its very hot and humid.

Hi, I have used the Suki exfoliating cleanser and I LOVE it!! I accidentally got some on my lips and it tasted just like sugar lol! It is the only one I have used so that is all I can tell you about them...
