I made the weight loss tea and used a food processor to make the carrot and daikon into pulp but I still had to eat it with a spoon. It tasted good but the smell was terrible. Did anyone else notice that or did I do something wrong?

I had a smell that wasn't very pleasant either. I opened the window.

The tea was good. It tasted like a soup and was to be eaten like a soup. You are to eat the vegetables and drink the broth. My problem is the smell. My husband and son kept complaining about it stunk the house up. I wonder if you can make a batch and just heat it in the morning.

I am wanting to make the weightloss tea, and I have everything for it but the diakon. I have gone to 3 different stores (even my local healthfood store) and no one has them.....I was wondering if I could use red radishes since they both are from the radish family. Also, does anyone know if you can make a big batch a head of time and just reheat it?

I used red radishes until I found daikon. It tasted pretty much the same. I don't see why you couldn't make a big batch and reheat- this won't work for you unless you tailor it to your lifestyle, right?

I made a big batch last night and heated up this morning. It was much easier to do it this way.
