Vegetarian/Vegan/Raw Restaurants in Milwaukee, WI
My favorite restaurant is Cafe Manna in Brookfield - I have been there 4 times now and it just keeps getting better!
I love Cafe Manna too! I have never had a bad meal there! It's delicious and healthy and really satisfying! I'm especially fond of the falafel and the cashew peace bowl- yum! I also really love The Palomino in Bay View and Beans & Barley on the East Side (amazing almond french toast!), and of course Alterra! I've heard Comet Cafe and Roots as well as Roots Cellar are very good, too!
Flat Top Grill in Tosa and Madison are good options too, especially if you are dining with meat eaters, so many vegan options!
Is that the one by Mayfair? I've been meaning to try that. Cool, thanks!

My husband and I are going to try The Palomino tonight. We are visiting some friends in Bay View and I remembered you mentioned this place. Thanks so much for the suggestion - it sound delish from the online reviews!
Have fun! I don't know if you are vegan or vegetarian, but the mac n cheese is sooo good and they have some great organic cabernet sauvignon. It's a casual bar atmosphere fyi. And, yes, Flat Top Grill is right across from Mayfair, enjoy!
Trying to go full fledge vegan so I had the BBQ Seitan w/sweet potato casserole and tator tots. SO good! I also had an organic beer from Lakefront Brewery I think. Of course my husabnd ordered something called the Moo Moo Burger...I think my belly probably felt a lot happier after the meal than his did!
i'm up in Green Bay. unfortunately we don't have that many vegetarian/vegan restaurants, but if you're ever in my part of the state, i can easily recommend The Urban Frog (vegetarian and organic foods. very delicious) and Vita Rawstaurant (vegan raw foods)
