I made this, itis INSANE. So delicious. I had it with a side of brown rice and some salad. If you haven't made it you need to do so asap. The meaty texture of the seitan is pretty incredible.
I made this last night and I really enjoyed it. It was pretty easy to make and my husband liked it too. It was my first time ever cooking with seitan. The seitan we bought was chicken style and didn't have many "big" pieces in the package. It was mostly little bite-size pieces. Which was fine. We served it on top of pasta with a salad.
We will make this again!
I haven't tried the adapted version, but I tried the original Candle Cafe recipe (based on a recommendation for the book by Alicia in an issue of Shape or Self) and it was WONDERFUL!
