My name is Misty and I'm quite new to veganism. I tried it for a week and I was amazed! I decided to eat everything raw and I was full of energy, light and happy.
I just got The Kind Diet in the mail today, read the Introduction and signed up! I can't wait to speak to all of the beautiful souls in here.

Hello from Austin, TX. I find it fairly easy to eat vegan in Austin due to access to Whole Foods and several vegan restaurants. How is in your part of Texas?
Fort Worth can be a challenge. The closest Whole Foods to me is about 45 minutes, but we have a smallish local shop that has a nice selection so that's really helpful. We only have 1 veg*n restaurant in Fort Worth proper though, and in such a big steak town it can be a challenge to eat out. Hopefully we'll see a change, or at least some veggie friendly options added to the menu as we get more vocal as a community!
