The Spiral Diner is in Fort Worth and has great food. http://www.spiraldiner.com/ Central Market has a ton of vegan meat/dairy substitutes, veg, etc. They also have pre-made food for quick take-out. Artisan bakery has great breads as well.
Hi C, I was actually talking about Spiral Diner in the '1 veg*n restaurant' comment. Great minds, er, eat alike I guess :0) If you're local, I just found out that Chadra (also in the medical district) has a vegetarian greek/italian/Mediterranean buffet Wednesdays for lunch. Their pizza is to die for, so Im hoping to make it out there before too long!
Dori - where do you shop for groceries? I can't find Mochi or Seitan at Central Market? There is an asian market in east Arlington that I have heard has some stuff but I haven't been there yet.
I don't think Hong Kong market in Arlington has it. But Whole foods in N. Arlington does. I've been calling the N. Arl. location before driving out. They always seem to be out of what I need. And alot of the dates are expired on things as well. have them ck. before going out.
Hi, I live in South Austin and am very blessed to have many Vegan options....some of my Favs are Boulidin Creek, Casa De Luz, Mr. Natural and of Course the downtown Whole Foods.
