Hi Kindlifers :o)
I just wanted to recommend a great vegetarian/vegan cookbook that has a lot of great recipes in it that I've been playing around with. Of course, I love Alicia's book, she has so many tasty recipes that I've been enjoying this past week. But, we know variety is the key to great nutrition so I thought I'd share.
The cookbook is "refresh" by Ruth Tal. She also has a few restaurants in Toronto named "fresh" and the recipes in the book are from the restaurants. I've never eaten at her restaurant, but the website is: www.freshrestaurants.ca
She has recipes in the book for vegan mayo and whipped cream, etc. as well.
Just thought I'd share :o)
Isn't it great?! My boyfriend LOVES the Dragon bowl, and requests it at least a couple times a month :o)
No, sadly I don't have a juicer either. Our kitchen is already over-run by too many gadgets and appliances. Maybe someday when we move ;o)
Thanks for the heads up! I have almost bought this book for a while now but wasn't sure if it was good or not. I guess I need to go get it now, and apparently need to get straight to making that Dragon Bowl Thanks for sharing. :)
