How do you feel after kicking dairy?

Hi!After being inspired by The Kind Diet, I decided to jump take the plunge and become vegan. I first quit eating meat about a month ago which so far hasn't been too hard because I really only ate chicken and not much else. I got rid of all dairy a week ago and I was just wondering if anybody had trouble with it. Its not that I'm craving it at all. But I also just plain do not feel good. I've been kind of sick to my stomach for the past few days, light headed, exhausted, and with a constant dull headache. Is this normal? I know I'm not sick because I really don't ever get sick and other than these symptoms that come and go, I'm perfectly fine. As for my dairy habit before...I drank a glass of milk with every meal and always had cheese or eggs as well. I LOVED dairy. I was just wondering if these are detox symptoms and if they go away...
Thanks for the help!
Aubrey, This is our second week of vegan and like you meat was not a problem but the dairy has been hard. Not so much the milk but eggs and cheese have been hard to replace in cooking. The flu and upper respritory illnesses have been out of control in our area so after starting the vegan plan we have had headaches, sore throats, cough, congestion etc... and just blamed it on the illnesses going around but after a round of antibiotics and 14 days later we are still having symptoms so I am thinking that maybe it is more detox symptoms. I have read where others have had similar symptoms...
