Has anyone made the Cornbread recipe in The Kind Diet book? I'm asking because I got a little confused with the ingredients. It calls for baking soda in the ingredient list, however, when she talks about combining the ingredients she refers to baking POWDER, and how to make sure it's fresh. There's no mention of Baking Powder in the list of ingredients. So, that left me thinking, was the baking SODA an error and baking powder should be used? I made the recipe using the baking soda and have to say they came out great. But I'm a perfectionist and also curious as to why baking powder was talked about.
Any suggestions?

Use the baking soda like the recipe says. The muffin suggestions after the recipe are just general tips to use when making muffins, cakes, or cupcakes.

hey there. there is a misprint in the book, the ingredients list is correct when its says baking soda. there is no baking powder in the recipe. only use baking soda! this will be corrected in upcoming editions of the book. hope that helps!
