Hi,
I'm bummed that Kashi cereal always seems to have honey in it. What are peoples other favorite cereals that don't have honey and are still high in fiber and protein? Optimum Power was my favorite choice before, but they stripped out the B12 and I think folate which I really liked about eating the cereal.

Also, if anyone has any advice on getting Kashi to try agave nectar or another alternative please let me know! I tried writing M&M's once about their "dark chocolate" M&M's that weren't non-dairy, and they scolded me for submitting such a comment and said I didn't know anything about what it takes to make a food product. Seriously.

Ezekiel cereal is great. No sugar, high fiber and all whole sprouted grains. Tastes great too. I eat Kashi Go Lean every now and then as well.

The kashi bisquit cereals (vanilla island, cinnamon harvest) are full of fiber, only 6 g protein compared to the others though but they don't have honey in them. I completely understand the being bummed about kashi. it was my favorite go to breakfast. still not sure about eating greens for breakfast ;)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I love trying new cereal - can't wait to try the Ezekiel cereal and I'll look at the other Kashi cereals as well.

Thanks!

Hi I just wanted to provide an update based on my last visit to the grocery store. I did find Kashi Heart to Heart - the Oat Flakes & Wild Blueberry Clusters - that doesn't have honey. Unlike the GoLean with honey, It is fortified with 100% Folic acid, B6, and B12 that should help me in meeting the requirements without having to eat meat or take an extra pill!
