Alabama STINKS

We don't have ANY vegan focused restaurants where I live. Whenever someone opens one they don't do very well. However we do have a few grocery stores. So, if anyone knows of any in Birmingham, AL, Nashville, or Atlanta that would be of great help considering that my husband and I can get to all three of those places rather quickly.
I live in Birmingham as well and I don't really know where to go to eat vegan. Lots of restaurants have veggie dishes but they are always covered in butter! Luckily we have a Whole Foods so I can go there and eat, but there must be somewhere else!
Have you looked at Happycow.net? Looks like Birmingham has a couple veg friendly places but Nashville has vegetarian restaurants and a couple veg friendly and Atlanta has a few vegan restaurants, some vegetarian and some other veg-friendly restaurants.
