Does anyone else feel like they're gnawing on a stick when drinking this? Yuck....or maybe it's just me?

I'm doing alright with sea veggies (the one recipe I made of green beans and hiziki). The miso is still sitting in the fridge untouched....I can't bring myself to have soup for breakfast just yet. I don't know, I think I may retire these tea bags back into the woods where they belong and just stick with my Yogi tea (and coffee! I admit it! Guilty as charged...) What about you?

I like the Kukicha tea too--i have the Eden brand. Yogi teas are wonderful--I totally agree!! I love the yogi kombucha too-----they have such a great selection of teas. Choice organic teas are fab. too--i think i tried their twig tea a while ago too. I switch on and off between org. regular coffee-and org. decaf coffee & teeccino which is an herbal coffee/caf. free. My hubby and I get bored with just 1 kind-so we're always alternating ;). 365 has a good org. coffee deal in WF--they have teeccino too. I bought daikon over the wknd--and had a piece raw--it tastes just like a radish!! I made some raw juice with it yesterday--and boy ohh boy-it was almost too potent to handle!! Very spicey and earthy!! I also bought the ume plum vinegar but didn't try it yet----and i saw the umeboshi pickled plums in WF but didn't buy it yet. I really want to make that umeboshi drink --did anyone try it yet?

i like the kukicha. it has a nice smoky flavor. i use the Eden brand.. maybe it's better tasting?

try yogi herbal teas without caffeine if you don't like the kukicha. there are high antioxidant ones that are tasty.

miso you gotta try it is sooooo good for you and soooo yummie...and it can be for any time of the day...doesnt have to be AM.
the tea i kinda agree with you...i dont like it one bit by its self....but it is my cure all tea...read that recipie i sware by it...and have it often...and it tastes great. think of it as yummie medicine.
but the tea by itself ...not for me...but m husband loves it..so ya know some love it and some dont...but go for the medicinal benefits of the cure all.

Alicia-Is there anything in the teas that would be bad to drink while breastfeeding? I've been hesitant just because I have no idea what Kukicha is made from? Thanks!

i had the cure all tea and Alicia isn't kidding. I don't know what kind of magic is hiding in the umebosh. I've never had anything that works so fast and makes me feel so alive at the same time. It's not my favorite thing to eat by itself but i suck it down because of how good it makes me feel. Some further info about it at the links below, if you are interested.

Kukicha: aka Twig Tea. According to the article below, it's added to kid's drinks.

This article recommends Kukicha for pregrant women.
