Hello everyone! So let me introduce myself... I am a 29yr old woman from California. I was a vegetarian for about 6 years, dabbling in veganism here and there, and about 6 months ago I started eating fish again... then about 2 months ago I started eating white meat again. My body hasn't quite felt right and I started feeling really guilty. I saw this book coming out and it just spoke to me ;) And turns out it was exactly what I needed to get myself back on track!
I do not have weight to lose really although I am trying to increase my fitness levels... I am embracing veganism for the planet, for the animals and for my overall health.
I am so grateful that Alicia Silverstone wrote this amazing book as I feel like myself again! All of the recipes I have made from the book have been amazing and I couldn't be happier. I am equally grateful for this forum where all us veggies can chat and share tips and advice!
Sincerely,Mindy

Welcome Mindy. I am in Los Angeles! Going vegan will improve your health and I speak from personal experience. As a personal trainer and spinning instructor being vegan has increased my stamina and overall fitness fitness level.

As far as your guilt, lose it. Guilt is wasted energy, change your direction and move forward to a better state of health and fitness all while be kinder to animals and the planet!
