Synergy Kombucha Tea

Hi all! I am new to the group and was wondering what everyone thought of Kombucha tea? Is this tea a good alternative to wine and sodas or is it just high in sugar with no real healthy benefits? Thoughts? (I love Synergy Grape)
Thanks!
I loves it, but have no idea as to the validity of its health claims. But it CANNOT be worse that coffee or soda, so i'm sure its fine in moderation. i like the gingerade myself.
I am also new to the group and I love Synergy Grape. I have a half a bottle every other night or so, and have just been feeling great since I started drinking it.
I like the gingerade, but I'm also not sure about its health claims. I'm sure it's fine to drink- the probiotics couldn't hurt one, either. I usually drink one bottle a week.
I've been drinking Kombucha a LOT for the past few months. Tried it and got a great feeling from it. I've replaced coffee with it from time to time, first thing in the morning with breakfast and a multi vitamin. Love it...
I love it. Even if it has no health benefits whatsoever, I love the taste (the Cosmic Cranberry is my favorite). Apparently, it is a good natural source of B12, among the other claims of health benefits, which is really appealing. Sometimes, it's great when I'm needing that bubbly soda fix!
I've been brewing my own Kombucha for awhile now, and before that I drank GT's....then I found High Country Kombucha (I chatted with the owner at the Green Festival in San Francisco recently and I gotta say, they do it right). You don't have to worry about all the sugars used in Kombucha because the culture eats it and turns it into good things for your body...of course, with GT's they add a lot of flavoring after and they stop their fermentation earlier (so the tea is sweeter aka it still has more unrefined sugars). Anyways, kombucha is SUPER good for you, just be sure you know the quality of the tea you're buying.
