Hi! I'm Kate. I've dabbled in being Pescetarian for the last couple of years. I always would stray eventually when faced with the difficulties of convenience. My husband is a "meat-at-every-meal guy" and I struggled with balancing mealtimes with him and my 5 yr. old son (not to mention family get-togethers, etc.). I knew deep down inside that I was eating "flesh" when I ate fish or eggs and making poor decisions when consuming dairy. Anyway - I turned 30 last month and bought Alicia's book as a present to myself and vowed to do whatever it took to live according to my morals and values. This book is phenomenal and it recommitted me to my journey so much that I decided the only way to go is vegan and incorporate superhero as much as possible. I am so happy! I don't know any vegans yet so I joined the forum (this is my first) to keep me motivated and to build a community. It can be kind of lonely when you don't have anyone to share all this inspiring knowledge with. I feel very fortunate to have access to so much kindness!!! Thank you everyone!
