Hello all! I have just joined this website and I have read Alicia's book. I've had no meat for a week now. I love the Japanese recipes! Having lived there, I was familiar with many of the ingredients and was happy to revisit them. My husband looks around the kitchen and comments on my "birdseed" as he calls it! He loved the kabocha soup as much as I did! I made it a second time and it wasn't as good, I'm wondering if the kabocha wasn't ripe enough or something...anyway, I am trying to stick with the superhero plan. I tried the daikon and carrot weight loss tea and my daughter kept asking me what the stink was! I haven't made it since. I didn't smell it until I left and came back home. It really did smell bad! Okay, I'm going to keep reading on here. I'm so excited! I kept noticing the website listed at the bottom of the pages in the book but DUH just now checked it out!!!!
