So I have to admit as week three of switching from a vegetarian to a vegan begins I am loving the results and positive impact the change has had on my life, physically and mentally. However, as I am looking towards the future and eventual and near switch to superhero I am greatly saddened about minimizing my intake of nightshades. Especially tomatoes and bell peppers, which I love so much! I usually eat bell peppers 3 times a week and tomatoes, well, almost every day. My question is, how often is it recommended to eat nightshades? I know it the kindlife Alicia says she keeps them out of her kitchen, and usually only has them as a treat, but I think this will be the hardest part of the whole entire diet for me!
me too! I don't have any advice to give except that I'm new to the vegan world, and I don't want to to go too crazy, and then go back to how I ate before. I'm going to take my time and ask my body when it's ready for the next step. Hope that helps!
