I eat the Boca burgers. I'm just afraid their too processed but I have a hard time finding many different brands. I sometimes get Morningstar farms and their pretty good too. I do try to watch the sodium content in these though cause some are very high.
I just discovered these last week at the Saturday Market in St. Petersburg, Fl: Joe's Oat Patties - so GOOD and extremely easy to make. Even my husband, a big-time carnivore, loves them (I was shocked). You can find it at this website: www.joeoatpatties.com (I've never ordered it via the website).
Ooh, they do sound good. I actually use leftover lentil soup for burgers... After a couple of days, when the soup dries out, I add (vegan) breadcrumbs and some nutritional yeast, form into paddies and deep fry in the cast iron pan. They're totally amazing and a great way to use up some old soup! Try them crumbled over a simple salad and I guarantee you'll love 'em!
