I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a week at a resort in Cuba, all the meals are included...This was booked before I started being Vegan!!! I've never been anywhere like this before, but I'm assuming that vegan and over indulgent resort food don't really go well together, and help, hints or suggestions of what to eat would be great! Thanks

I trust you had a good trip (last year - ha!). I had an easy time in Puerto Rico by sticking to rice and beans which are plentiful everywhere. I would add fried plaintains or sprinkle seeds that I got at Walmart. I also bought trail mix, peanuts to snack on, almond milk, and made tons an tons of smoothies. The street vendor's frappes tend to be all local fruit and ice. Yum!!

Call before you get there and see if they have any options for you. If not, ask them what to do. Locals usually know the best places to get the best deals and which places are the most sanitary. I'm jealous! Have fun! :)
