Hi Everyone! I'm really new to the kind diet (about 2 weeks in), but considering how I grew up - I feel this is a very strong step in the right direction. I grew up on a beef farm in rural Minnesota!!!! Thankfully, my family no longer farms and from what I have heard there is a LOT of pressure for farmers where I grew up to use hormones on their cattle in order to be profitable. This book is exactly right - it is about $$$ and if we cut down the demand, the supply will be forced to go down as well. I'm excited to be here, to start this new chapter in my life and to be a BETTER me!

Hi Tracy! I am with you...new to the kind diet (going superhero) also.. I was someone who always said I could NEVER go vegetarian, but in the last few months I've been moving away from meat and dairy and eating a lot more grains and veggies, mainly for health reasons...but i am now completely inspired me to leave nasty foods in my past..i will no longer support the killing of innocent animals and toxic toll those industries have on the planet..the health benefits seem like just a great side effect. I feel lighter and my body and mind feel clearer already. Can't wait to explore more here:)
