Nervous about Thanksgiving

Is anyone else out there freaking out about the upcoming holiday? I am newly married and on Thanksgiving we go to my parents house and then my husband's grandparents house so we are not hosting and in addition we will be spening the 4 day holiday sleeping at family members homes (we live 2 hours away from them). This means I don't really have much control about the food that is being prepared. I'm bringing a vegan dish to pass, but other than that I'm not sure what to eat. I've only been doing this 2 weeks now and my husband's family is extremely critical so there is no way I'm at a point where I'm prepared to tell them I'm no longer eating meat and dairy. Does anyone else have a plan on how to handle this holiday as a new vegan. I'm at the point where the thought of eating any meat makes me physically ill after all the horrible things I have been reading lately. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My husband's family lives out of town so we frequently have overnight stays. I usually take a fews can of Amy's Organic Vegan soups and Lara bars with me. It is not the most variety but it will hold you over. Make sure you pick soups with a protein source in them as well.
