I really love find new reusable shopping bags and have a small collection that I keep in my car and my purse so that I always have some. In the last year I have really been able to cut back to maybe 2-3 plastic bags a month. If I am in a situation where I don't have one, I ask the cashier to fit as much as possible into one bag or carry what I can. It really does make a difference. I especially love the stores that give you a small discount for brining your own bags!
